Er. Gaurav Agarwal Vice Chairman of the Institute, has obtained his B. Tech. (E.E.) from IIT, Kanpur and Master of Science (Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences) from University of California, Berkeley. Post his engineering education, he worked in the Silicon Valley for over 2 years in a Hi-Tech Chip Design Company where his efforts were recognized and the company obtained two patents based on his work.

In order to expand his understanding of the business world, he joined the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore in 2004 where he was awarded the Gold Medal by Shri. Sunil Bharti Mittal for standing first in the Class of 2006. He then joined Barclays Capital, the Investment Banking division of Barclays Bank in London where he worked in various capacities until 2009.
